I created this Moleskine journal during a trip to the Dominican Republic for a wedding. We tried to make it to some remote locations on the island, and I spent a lot of time learning the flora and fauna of the island. But delays, flights and travel travails kept us from getting too far. Regardless, I try to learn about a place by sketching a bit of its flora and fauna. I used a watercolor moleskine, which has a different layout and texture than most moleskines.
